| Enhancement in tax for Goods Carriages | | As per Kerala Finance Act 2010, tax in respect of Goods Carriages and Trailers used for carrying goods have been enhanced as follows: For Goods Carriages other than those fitted with tipping mechanism and having Gross Vehicle Weight more than 20000 Kgs - Rs.5280 + Rs 220 for every 250 Kg or part thereof in excess of 20000 Kg. For Trailers used for carrying goods and having Gross Vehicle Weight more than 20000 Kg - Rs. 4510 + Rs. 220 for every 250 Kg or part thereof in excess of 20000 Kg.
